At Novelties by Nadia, Flowers & more we are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers/containers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and vice versa.
Non-Perishable Gift Items
If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable gift item for any reason, you may return it to our shop for an exchange of equal value or a refund within 10 days of the purchase date on your receipt. (Must provide your receipt) If there was a delivery made, the delivery fee will be excluded in the refund. If you are not able to bring the items in, we may be able to retrieve them for an additional delivery fee.
Some hospitals do not allow latex balloons with an arrangement. Mylar balloons may need to be substituted for latex balloons on some orders.
For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.
Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary, to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
Substitutions for Special Occasions
Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided we will substitute to the closest flowers/color that are available.
While we process your request the moment we receive it during business hours, it is sometimes very difficult to get cancellation requests complete. Our network ranges throughout the country and because of the importance placed on a timely delivery of your request and various time zones, it can sometimes be very difficult to stop or cancel a delivery attempt or a placed order. Cancellations must be done prior to delivery, and in all cases within 24 hours of placing your order. Any cancellation requests after this period cannot be guaranteed and subject to a 20% charge.
Refunds are given when there is no other alternative. In order to receive a refund, we will need the purchased items (such as the flower arrangements, balloons, potted plants, teddy bears, candles, greeting cards and etc.) to be returned unaltered or tamper with and in its entirety for a refund. Refund request must be made within 7 days of purchase or delivery (Must provide your receipt) Perishable items such as Fruit and any kind of edible items cannot be returned. If there was a delivery made, the delivery fee will be excluded in the refund. If you are not able to bring the items in, we may be able to retrieve them for an additional delivery fee.
